Here in Atlanta we’ve been back to school for a about a month, however I know that across the country September is when all of kiddies getting back to the books. Like the kids many business owners slack off during the summer months, so September is officially “Back to Business” at Cassius Blue Consulting.
As a coach & consultant one of my roles is to be a resource to my customers. Because small businesses are my target market I also like to support them wherever I can. So my focus for the month of September is promoting YOU! This is the first of 20 businesses to be featured as we bring you 20 businesses in 20 days. Each of these businesses offers a product or service that will help you market, brand, and grow your business. Each business was asked to submit a “pitch” that consciously explained how their business can help my customers and why they should be featured.
Marketing is my passion so it is only appropriate that I kick this series off with a business that helps you to execute your marketing strategy. What key piece of advice would you give to other business owners?
Believe in yourself and your vision. There will come moments of temptation to quit. When you truly believe in who you are and what you are doing, you will push through.
What question do your customers ask most often? And how do you answer?
My customers often ask, ‘where do I start?’ or ‘how do I do that?’ I usually respond with a sincere smile (as if to say, “I’m glad you asked.”) Then I proceed to say, “It starts with your idea of what you want. If you are clear on whether you really want to move forward…I can help you from there…”
How do you define success?
Success is… knowing your “Divine” purpose, actively pursuing it, boldly standing firm (even during the tough times); holding on to what you KNOW and “doing it afraid.”
What separates your business from the competition?
The force that separates Hill Publishing from others is our strive for personal and organizational excellence. Regardless of the dollar amount we receive, we proudly provide products and service with excellence. In other words, even if we did not receive payment, customer satisfaction is guaranteed because the result would still be EXCELLENCE!
What and or who inspires you?
I am inspired by individuals and especially business owners who are sincere about growth. When people get serious about growth and maturity, they tend to set themselves in position to gain knowledge and understanding in whatever they pursue. This inspires me to inspire others.
